Once considered to be a pastime and taken for granted by many, now eating healthy is slowly starting to take shape as a necessity for many Ugandans. In a show of solidarity and unity with the nation’s advocates for healthy eating and responsible consumption, major local brands have joined resources and given their full backing to see to the success of the FIRST ever vegan festival to be organized in East Africa’s most vibrant city, Kampala in Uganda.
Dubbed the “Vegan Festival Ug”, this maiden event will be happening at Kabira Country Club; a beautiful hideout on the northern outskirts of Uganda’s capital city, that has managed to steadfastly hold onto it’s contemporary feel despite its many years of existence. There is perhaps no better location and stage for one to launch such an uplifting event than in one of the most vibrant and bustling cities of the world, full of life and hospitality than Kampala – the true heart of East Africa.
Known as the pearl of Africa, Uganda has gained a great reputation on the international scene for its evergreen fauna and flora, Lake Victoria and the River Nile and as a land where you can drop any fruit seed and see it sprout within a matter of days. It is at the back of this nature’s generosity that many farmers have realized great yields in vegetables, fruits, and coffee – define heaven!
Endless Summer
A nation that knows nothing but only rain and sunshine throughout the 12 months of the year, Uganda has a near perfect weather for cultivating and growing a variety of fruits and vegetables. A few months in and your all natural cocktail drink will be ready to serve seducingly with a froth. Is this the Heaven on earth for a vegetarian?
Not only do the fruits grow fast, are on a constant supply throughout the year, but they also go for amazingly cheap prices! For as little as 1000 Ugandan shillings, one can easily get a bag full of their choice fruit or vegetables. The pleasures and fulfillment this inspires can only be comparable to the authentic climax if you dear reader have ever been as lucky as to experience one. If you know, you know!
Fruits, Vegetables And Sex!
Sex blogger and socialite Ms. Sharon Gordwin swears by the Kampala Vegan festival, and in her own words she says” “While having sex; use berries for foreplay, squeeze one on your girl’s —- and lick it right off… Vegetables will make a woman fertile enough for reproduction. The easiest way for the girl to get them hips, big butt and the seductive big round eyes is by eating lots of Dodo – a vegetable exclusively grown in Uganda. Jackfruit helps the girl stay lubricated throughout the act, and thence get herself crowned the proverbial queen chasing many off with a broomstick.” Words of Ms. Sharon Godwin – twitter account @alumbaeofficial.
