What is Kampala Cultural Exchange Gold event 2019? 

Kampala Cultural Exchange (KCE) is an event that focuses on development of cultures with attention to cultural diversity within Uganda. Including Food, Fashion, and Visual Arts, performing arts, language, education, history and all ways of living within communities. 

KCE gives the best platform to diverse cultural dimensions to exchange knowledge, skills, uniqueness and learn from each other and celebrate the diversity of culture and promote jovial human relations. Cultural respect attitudes and behaviors are the keys to sustainable cultural development and uplift of heritages that impact generations after generations.

When And Where is the Kampala Cultural Exchange Gold event?

 Kampala Cultural Exchange (KCE) Gold Event is to be held on 30th June 2019 (09:00am to 06:00pm) at Seven Trees Gardens, Wampewo Avenue, Kampala City under Theme “Celebrating cultural diversity and enhancing talent development among the youth” 

Who to look forward to:

 The event will feature two Ugandan Renowned Music Icons James Ssewakirwanga (Ssewa Ssewa)-The inventor of Janzi Music Instrument (22- strings) and Co-founder of Janzi Band and Giovanni Kiyingi- a multi-instrumentalist, folk singer-song writer. 

 Giovanni Kiyingi who plays the local Ugandan fiddle, akogo, adungu, guitar, harmonica, flute, djembe, calabash, congas, drums and maracas among others.

    Janzi Youth Music

    The Program format includes: live painting public art with the Great African art banner , music, pottery, food market, poetry, fashion show, live performance, exhibition of crafts, reading tents, children corners and relaxing corners. The event will also include, networking, One-to-one interaction with artists, performers, diplomats, exhibition sessions and networking sessions.
